Conference June 9 – June 13, 2008

This section will cover some key issues related to the existing Accounting Methodologies including social and environmental assessment. It will provide a background for discussing the potential guidelines and tools to be considered by the CARBONplus accounting methodology as a means to evaluate the potential projects.

It will be divided in three parts:
I. The CARBONplus methodology will be based on existing techniques such as environmental management accounting (EMA), full cost accounting (FCA) and activity based costing (ABC)
II. What will be counted?
III. Challenges
